: As many as 316 students from Tamil Nadu are among the 5,100 from across the country who would be awarded scholarships by the Reliance Foundation, which has announced the results of its undergraduate and postgraduate scholarship programme for 2025-26. The recipients include 5,000 undergraduate students and 100 postgraduates. Swetha M., a student of Ethiraj college, said the scholarship programme removed the hindrance of financial constraints, helping her pursue her studies as well as her goals with confidence. Undergraduate scholars would receive up to ₹2 lakh, and postgraduate scholars would get up to ₹6 lakh, along with mentoring, leadership development, and access to a global alumni network. A press release said that 83% of the beneficiaries of the scholarship were from households having an annual income of less than ₹2.5 lakh, with strong representation from women and students with disabilities.
