BALACHANDAR BJP leaders who accuse about the law-and-order situation in Tamil Nadu are mute about violence and crime against women and children reported from BJP-ruled States, said DMK president and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. He was campaigning at Tiruppattur on Saturday, in support of candidates, including Minister for Cooperation K.R. Periakaruppan (Tiruppattur), MLA A. Tamilarasi (Manamadurai-SC), MLA S. Mangudi (Karaikudi), and Karunas (Sivaganga). Addressing the gathering, Mr. Stalin accused several north Indian BJP leaders of repeatedly attempting to mask the poor law-and-order situations in their own States by portraying Tamil Nadu as an ‘uninhabitable’ land for its people.
