DEEPAK Eradication of social issues such as bonded labour and human trafficking requires strong coordination between public prosecutors and the Police Department, said Minister for Home Vangalapudi Anitha. She emphasised that prosecutors must play an active role from the filing of the charge sheet onward to ensure offenders receive stringent punishment. She was speaking at a workshop—“Strengthening Prosecution Responses to Bonded Labour and Human Trafficking Cases”—organised by the Directorate of Prosecution, Government of Andhra Pradesh, here on Saturday (April 11, 2026).
