After more than a week of erratic weather conditions that brought down the mercury in a few places, the State is entering into a week of hot and humid phase, and temperatures are expected to rise gradually.

On Saturday (April 11), Pottipadu of Kondapuram mandal in YSR Kadapa district recorded the day’s highest at 44.7°C, and more than 200 out of the total 688 mandals in the State recorded their maximum temperatures above 40°C.
