The Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu will organise the 15-day summer special coaching camp here from April 17 to May 1. In a statement, District Sports Officer Rajesh said the coaching camp for track events, kabaddi, hockey, football, volleyball and atya patya will be held at the District Sports Complex at Mela Pattakurichi and the Tenkasi ECE Government Boys’ Higher Secondary School will host the coaching camp for weightlifting and basketball. Aspiring boys and girls above the age of 18 may participate in the free summer coaching camp. The participants will receive certificates at the end of the camp. Interested players may contact SDAT’s Sports Complex at Mela Paattaakurichi either by person or via 04633- 212580 / 88380 02947, Mr. Rajesh said.
