Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stood at 110.85 ft. ( maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 210 cusecs and a discharge of 200 cusecs. The level in Vaigai dam was 35.66 ft. (maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 89 cusecs and a discharge of 72 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 1,400.13 mcft. Sothupparai dam recorded 11.2 mm, Kodaikanal 9.6 mm and Uthamapalayam 4.6 mm of rainfall in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Saturday.
