A 38-year-old crew member from Kerala, employed on a luxury cruise ship owned by a Norwegian cruise line, was reported missing while the vessel was en route from a Mexican port to the United States. The missing person was identified as Vinshar, a native of Kakkodi in Kozhikode district. He was working aboard the cruise ship NCL Viva. According to the official communications received by the family, the youth went missing in the early hours of April 9, 2026. Officials of the cruise company informed his relatives about the incident through a phone call around 9 p.m. on Friday (April 10, 2026).
