Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday urged governments, both Central and States, to spend on healthcare and education. Speaking at the inaugural of the three-day CAHOCON 2026, organised by the Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organisations (CAHO) at the Chennai Trade Centre, he underlined the need to bridge the urban-rural divide in delivering quality healthcare to the public. More than 55% live in rural areas, and technology can play a major role in this, he pointed out.
