K.K. Krishnakumar, 56, economist and founder secretary of the Centre for Socio-Economic and Environmental Studies, passed away on Saturday (April 11). A former member of Cochin University of Science and Technology Syndicate, he had been ailing for some time. He had served as a member of the Expert Committee on Resources and Plan Implementation constituted by the Kerala State Planning Board.
