Bomb threat at Rajinikanth, Dhanush residences declared hoax

The police conducted searches at the residences of actors Rajinikanth and Dhanush in Poes Garden following a bomb threat email received at the Director General of Police control room. They found no explosives and declared the threat a hoax.

An anonymous person sent the email to the official address of the Director General of Police at the Police Headquarters. Staff alerted the local police and the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS). The police carried out verification and investigation before declaring the threat a hoax.
