Medical student dies in Tiruvallur

A second-year medical student died at a hospital after he was found unconscious at a private medical college at Pandur near Tiruvallur on Wednesday.

The deceased, identified as Asher, 20, was a native of Thoothukudi and was staying in the college hostel. He was found unconscious on Wednesday and was initially rushed to the Tiruvallur Government Medical College Hospital, where he was given treatment. He was later shifted to a private hospital in Porur. However, he died without responding to treatment.
