Section of Perungudi residents to boycott Assembly election

A section of residents in Perungudi has planned to boycott the upcoming Assembly election due to the failure of the two main political parties, the DMK and the AIADMK, to resolve the land issue in their locality for more than five decades.

The residents have put up display boards about the proposed boycott of the Assembly election. Perungudi comes under the Sholinganallur Assembly constituency.
