A total of 61 railway stations across Karnataka have been taken up for redevelopment under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme to provide modern amenities and improve passenger facilities with a total investment of ₹1,981 crore.

Sharing this information with reporters in Mysuru after a Window Trailing Inspection of KSR Bengaluru – Mandya – Mysuru Railway Sections, Minister of State for Railways V. Somanna said the major stations taken up for redevelopment included KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur, and Bengaluru Cantonment.
