Polling for the byelection to the Davangere South Assembly Constituency was carried out smoothly and concluded peacefully on Thursday. Barring a case of minor clash between workers of the Congress and the SDPI over placing of a table outside a polling station, technical glitches in two polling stations, no major issues were reported during the day.
