BRS working president K T Rama Rao welcoming T. Jeevan Reddy into the party fold, in Jagtial, on Thursday. Almost a fortnight after resigning from the ruling Congress party, T. Jeevan Reddy, the septuagenarian leader from Jagtial, on Thursday announced his decision to join the main Opposition, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). Mr. Reddy, a former minister, conveyed his decision to this effect to BRS working president K T Rama Rao, who met him along with a host of BRS leaders at his residence in Jagtial on Thursday afternoon. His decision came after consultations with his loyal aides and well-wishers.
