During the review of the usage plan of each floor in the G+6 hospital building, the doctors informed him that the sixth floor would be entirely used for operation theatres, while the seventh floor would have an exclusive helipad to receive emergency cases.

Interacting with the staff at the makeshift hospital premises, he sought details on NTR Vaidya Seva, Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust schemes. Later, he interacted with the children hailing from Anantapur, Proddatur, Chittoor, Kakinada, Tenali, Rayachoti and Kurnool, who had undergone cardiac surgeries recently, and quizzed their attendants about the quality of service, availability of free treatment, among others.

Hospital Director Dr. N. Srinath Reddy informed that 4,950 cardiac surgeries and 23 heart transplant procedures had been performed on infants and children so far. Mr. Singhal later inspected the advanced Cath Lab machine in ICU-1 used for correcting heart defects, the isolation ward in ICU-2 and ICU-3, besides the general wards.
