State committed to ensuring welfare of farmers, says Priyank Kharge

Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister and district in-charge Priyank Kharge on Thursday said that the State government is committed to ensuring the welfare and uplift of farmers. It has extended substantial financial support to the agricultural sector, he said.

He was speaking after distributing vegetable seed kits to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes beneficiaries under the Horticulture Department, funded by the Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board (KKRDB), at a programme at Bajaj Kalyana Mantapa in Chittapur town, Kalaburagi district.
