Sujana of the Telangana High Court will pronounce orders on Friday (April 10, 2026) in the anticipatory bail petition moved by Delhi-based Congress leader Pawan Khera in a criminal case registered by the Assam Police against him over his allegations that Assam Chief Minister’s wife was possessing three passports. The Congress leader, who was in Hyderabad, knocked the doors of the Telangana High Court by moving a criminal petition seeking transit anticipatory bail in the case. The plea was taken up for hearing during the post-lunch session on Thursday by the bench of Justice Sujana. Supreme Court senior counsel Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Telangana High Court senior counsel Ravinder Reddy, presenting arguments on behalf of Mr. Khera, contended that the case registered against their client had ulterior motives and was part of political vendetta.
