Ward-wise final voter lists for ULBs from January 12

The Telangana State Election Commission (TSEC) held a meeting with representatives of recognised political parties to discuss the preparation and publication of electoral rolls for upcoming Municipal and Municipal Corporation elections.

State Election Commissioner Rani Kumudini Devi told party representatives that the voter list exercise would cover 366 wards in six Municipal Corporations and 2,630 wards in 117 Municipalities across 32 districts of Telangana.

The final ward-wise voter lists will be published on January 12. This will be followed by the publication of a draft list of polling station details on January 13, which will also be uploaded on the T-Poll portal.

The Election Commission further stated that on January 16, the final voter lists, along with photographs and polling station information, will be displayed ward-wise at the respective polling stations by the Commissioners of the concerned Municipalities and Municipal Corporations.
