Kerala moves to the polling stations for the single-phase, 2026 edition of the State Assembly elections on Thursday (April 9, 2026). Polling begins at 7 a.m. after what has been a short but intense period of electioneering this summer.

The Election Commission of India (EC) has arranged 30,495 polling stations— including 24 auxiliary stations— across the State’s 140 constituencies.
