The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Wednesday asked the Madurai Collector to direct the revenue authorities to extend their cooperation for conducting a joint survey of the Thirupparankundram hill with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).

The joint survey should be concluded in May, the court said.
