Air travel between Visakhapatnam and Tirupati was disrupted on Wednesday afternoon after an IndiGo flight 6E 7063 was grounded due to a technical snag at the Visakhapatnam International Airport.

The four-year-old Alenia ATR 72 aircraft, with a seating capacity of 74, was scheduled to depart from Visakhapatnam International Airport at 1:50 p.m. However, the aircraft remained on the tarmac for two hours after a technical glitch detected during routine pre-flight checks. The engineering teams subsequently carried out emergency safety inspections.
