Lottery held to allot 102 LIG flats near Warangal Railway Station

Telangana Housing Board held a lottery to allot 102 affordable flats in three blocks near Warangal Railway Station, for Lower Income Groups on Thursday (January 8, 2025). The process was held a day after allotting the properties located in Gachibowli. While the flats could generate high revenue for the government if a public auction was held, a decision was taken to provide the flats at affordable prices for people from LIG, as per a press note from the Board. The flats measured between 558 to 610 sft, and priced between Rs 19.6 lakh to Rs 21.35 lakh. The lottery was held in the presence of the Board’s Estate Officer S. Vimala, Executive Engineer K. Ankamma Rao and PRO V. Vasu
