MOORTHY With the Assembly elections fast approaching, the slow pace of key infrastructure projects in Tiruchi has emerged as a major concern among voters, many of whom say development delays continue to affect their daily lives. Several long-pending projects, including the proposed semi-ring road, elevated corridors, and the much-discussed Metrorail plan, remain incomplete or yet to take off, despite being announced years ago.
