Kerala Assembly Elections: All arrangements in place in Kollam

Assembly election process in the district will be conducted under 24-hour surveillance to ensure a flawless and transparent voting experience, District Collector N. Devidas said after inspecting the arrangements on Wednesday. The systems at district- level control room are designed to update various IT platforms and provide real-time tracking of the voting progress across Kollam.

To maintain strict oversight, every polling station in the district has been equipped with webcasting facilities, providing live feeds to the monitoring team. Coordination of specialised applications like ECI Net Pro and ENCORE will be managed to facilitate seamless information exchange among polling officials. The Collector added that constant monitoring and necessary technical support would be provided from the initial distribution of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) until the conclusion of the polling process.
