The number of voters in Coimbatore district has increased by 29,796 across its ten Assembly constituencies between the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and the finalisation of the electoral roll for the Assembly election. As on March 15, when the MCC came into force, the district had 27,14,676 electors, including 13,08,898 male voters, 14,05,246 female voters and 532 other voters.
