Two sisters from Iran, who are currently pursuing a D.Pharmacy internship in Visakhapatnam, have approached the district administration seeking financial assistance after losing contact with their family members in their home country.

The sisters, Soolmaz Mohammadi and Zenab Mohammadi, met District Revenue Officer (DRO) Visweswara Naidu and submitted a representation explaining their difficulties. They said that they had arrived in Visakhapatnam in May 2025 from Hana, Iran, along with their three children, to undertake an internship at a college affiliated to the Andhra University.
