Ponguleti refutes BRS charges on irregularities in land and mining

Taking strong objections to the BRS’ charges on irregularities in land and mining related issues, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy asserted that the leaders of the main Opposition party are indulging in mud-slinging against the Congress Government as they are “unable to digest the effective implementation of the spree of welfare and developmental programmes”.

Describing BRS leaders T. Harish Rao and K.T. Rama Rao as “Abaddhala (lies) Rao and Drama Rao”, the Minister launched a trenchant attack on the main Opposition party for trying to create apprehensions against the Government in the hope of coming back to power. “People are not ready to believe them any more as the Congress Government is transparent and has ordered inquiries into all charges made by the BRS,” he said.
