TDP leader calls for awareness on blood donation in rural areas

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader Kondru Jagadish on Thursday asked party activists and leaders living in rural areas to come forward and donate blood and raise awareness about blood donation as it was relatively less in villages. He attended as chief guest blood donation camps organised in Rajam, Arasada village of Vangara mandal and other places on the occasion of Rajam MLA Kondru Muralimohan’s birthday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that charitable programmes need to be conducted on important occasions instead of unproductive celebrations. He congratulated TDP local leaders Lachhubhukta Dhanalakshmi, Krishnamurthy and others for mobilising people to donate blood at the camp. Later, party leaders planted saplings and distributed fruits to patients at various hospitals in the constituency.
