Karunanidhi would be established once the DMK was voted to power again. Pointing to the DMK government’s move to establish an university named after Kalaignar at Kumbakonam, Mr. Udhayanidhi alleged that the former Governor R.N. Ravi had blocked the initiative. “Once the DMK returns to power, the university will be established,” he said addressing election rallies held at Thiruvaiyaru, Kumbakonam, and Thiruvidaimaruthur Assembly segments in Thanjavur district on April 6.
