It might be just a matter of three hundred metres but more than a year has passed and the Chennai Metro Rail’s tunnel boring machine (TBM) ‘Anaimalai’ is unable to make a breakthrough at Kellys.

In the 118.9-km Phase II of the project, corridor 3 between Madhavaram and SIPCOT, passes via Perambur, Perambur Barracks, Otteri, Pattalam, Ayanavaram, Purasawalkam, Kellys, and Kilpauk.
