Kashmiri is the Indian language in focus at HLF 2026. Announcing this on Thursday (January 8, 2026), Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary said: “HLF has emerged as a premier literary event and it shows the vibrant city’s culture and is part of its liveability index.” The Festival is open for all.
