Two persons were killed in a road accident on Uthamapalayan bypass road on Sunday. The police said S. Sujith, 23, and M. Deepak, 19, both from Cumbum, were working as car mechanics. When they were returning to Cumbum from Chinnamanur, they were killed following a head-on collision between their car and a lorry heading towards Namakkal from Kerala. The Uthamapalayam police have registered a case and are investigating.
