Two more bodies have been retrieved on Sunday from an irrigation canal near Pichuka Lanka in Atreyapuram Mandal in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district. This comes after the police recovered a body from the canal on Saturday. The deceased have been identified as Sk. Sulani Ahmad, 22, and Mohammad Arfad, 19. On April 4, three persons, Sk. Bilal, 29, Ahmad and Afrad, were drowned in the irrigation canal after they got into the canal for bath. The police retrieved the body of Bilal on Saturday. All of them belong to Rajamahendravaram. Ravulapalem Rural Circle Inspector Ch. Vidhya Sagar has said that the bodies of two persons have been handed over to police on Sunday.
