Income Tax department officials on Sunday conducted checks at a private educational group of institutions at Manikandam near Tiruchi, which is linked to the AIADMK Tiruchi East Assembly constituency candidate G. Rajasekaran. Police sources said a team of officials launched the operation in the evening and it went on for over four hours within the sprawling campus.
