Poornaprajna College (Autonomous) hosted a National Symposium on Science and Technology and Scientists’ Meet 2026 in Udupi on Saturday.

Scientists, including the man behind Brahmos missile, Prahlad Rama Rao, former Director of Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), Bengaluru; B.R. Guruprasad, former scientist, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO); Vidhyadhiraja N.S., professor and dean, Fellowships and Extensions, Theoretical Sciences Unit, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bengaluru; Vinayaka K. Pattar, researcher, educator, and science communicator, JNCASR, and others took part in the event.
