RAGHUNATHAN Chennai Metro Rail’s tunnelling work for the phase II project from Thiruvanmiyur to Taramani has run into delays due to a snag with the tunnel boring machine (TBM). The 118.9-km phase II project will have three corridors — Madhavaram to SIPCOT (corridor 3), Poonamallee to Light House (corridor 4), and Madhavaram to Sholinganallur (corridor 5).
