A shop owner was arrested for operating an illegal LPG refilling unit in Kompally, where domestic gas cylinders were being decanted and sold at inflated prices to unsuspecting customers. Acting on specific information, B. Sripal, Deputy Tahsildar of the Medchal Civil Supplies Department, conducted a raid on ‘Aruna Kirana Store’ located under the jurisdiction of Petbasheerabad police station. Officials found that the premise was being used to stockpile domestic LPG cylinders and illegally transfer gas into smaller cylinders for commercial sale.
