The first of the 19th Indian Premier League (IPL) matches at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal, Hyderabad, will be held on Sunday (April 5, 2026) | Photo Credit: NAGARA GOPAL The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal of Hyderabad will host its first match of the 19th Indian Premier League (IPL) on Sunday (April 5, 2026). A total of seven matches are scheduled to be held at the city stadium, with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) being one of the two teams in all of the contests. The seven matches will be held on April 5, 13, 18, 21 and on May 3, 6 and 22. The matches on Sundays (April 5 and May 3) will be held from 3.30 p.m., and the rest from 7.30 p.m. In Hyderabad, SRH will compete with all but two teams — Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans. So far in the IPL, SRH played two matches and won one.
