The highest of 41.4°C was recorded in Madugulapally of Nalgonda, followed by 41.3°C in Cherla of Bhadradri Kothagudem and 41.0°C in Konijerla of Khammam. District-wise data recorded by Telangana Development Planning Society between Friday and Saturday morning (8.30 a.m.) shows that 40°C or over was recorded in 14 districts. Urban districts The maximum temperatures in urban districts was below 40°C, with 39.8°C in Rangareddy, 38.5°C in Hyderabad 38.3°C in Medchal Malkajgiri. Very light rain in two mandals Though it has predicted thunderstorms accompanies with lightning and gusty winds as very likely in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts on Friday, ‘very light’ (0.3 to 2.4mm) rain was recorded in only two mandals. Besides the seven districts, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Jangaon, Siddipet too are forecast to receive thunderstorms with lightning on Saturday.
