Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu lacks the intent to complete Amaravati and is using it for financial gain, alleges YSRCP State coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy. | Photo Credit: File Photo YSRCP State coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Friday directed the regional coordinators, district presidents, MLAs, and senior leaders to intensify grassroots outreach and sharpen the party’s focus on key political and public issues, while strengthening its organisational structure. Addressing them through a video-conference, Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy claimed that the YSRCP “maintains a clear and consistent stand on the capital issue.” He alleged that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu lacked the intent to complete Amaravati and was using it for financial gain. “In contrast, the growth corridor model linking Machilipatnam, Vijayawada, and Guntur (MAVIGUN), proposed by YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, is practical, cost-effective, and development-oriented,” Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy said. He also raised concern over the functioning of the TTD, alleging that the actions of its Chairman B.R. Naidu were undermining the sanctity of Tirumala. He asked YSRCP leaders to perform special prayers in temples on April 4 and mobilise public opinion to demand the Chairman’s removal. He said formation of party committees was nearing completion, with a target of enrolling 18 lakh active members. He asked leaders to strengthen digital coordination mechanisms and emphasised the importance of safeguarding voter lists. Further, he asked leaders to highlight issues such as disruption in Aarogyasri services, delay in fee reimbursement, and irrigation concerns related to key projects such as Polavaram. He also called for preparedness for upcoming municipal elections.
