GBS K. Nagendran, 57, a member of the party’s State Executive Committee, has been announced as the BJP candidate for the Ramanathapuram constituency for 2026 Assembly Elections. He holds B.Sc. and MBA degrees. A native of Regunathapuram near Ramanathapuram, he currently resides in K.K. Nagar, Chennai. He operates a laptop sales business across South India. He has been a member of the BJP for 20 years and serves as a member of the BJP State Executive Committee and the person-in-charge for the Mudukulathur constituency. Notably, it is the first time he is contesting in the Ramanathapuram constituency.
