The Southern Railway will operate two round trips of a special train service between Mangaluru Central and Chennai Egmore to clear extra rush of passengers during the Vishu. Train No. 06126 Mangaluru Central – Chennai Egmore Special will leave Mangaluru Central at 4 p.m. on April 6 and 13 (Mondays) to reach Chennai Egmore at 10.30 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 06125 Chennai Egmore – Mangaluru Central Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 2 p.m. on April 7 and 14 (Tuesdays) to reach Mangaluru Central at 6.50 a.m. the next day.
