Palakkad Division of Southern Railway has closed the financial year 2025–26 on a historic note, achieving a total freight loading of 7.34 million tonnes (MT) — the highest recorded in the last 10 years. The Division not only met but exceeded its annual Revenue Budget (RB) loading target of 7.32 MT, marking a significant milestone in its operational history, said a press release issued by the division.
