Residents raise concern over increase in dog bite cases at Kannampalayam near Sulur

Stray dog bite incidents have been reported to be on the rise in Kannampalayam near Sulur in Coimbatore district, with residents in the locality raising concern over safety.

According to people in the area, around eight dog bite incidents have been reported in the past two weeks alone. Children, elderly persons and two-wheeler riders are among those affected, they said, adding that some of the dogs involved were suspected to be affected by rabies.
