Ganta slams Jagan over ‘Mavigun’ capital proposal

Bheemunipatnam MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao launched a sharp attack on YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy over his recent remarks on Amaravati and his proposal to consider an alternative capital plan in the Machilipatnam Vijayawada Guntur region, which he termed as Mavigun.

Addressing the media, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said that such remarks coming from a person who had previously served as Chief Minister were shameful. He alleged that the statements had triggered widespread criticism on social media, with many netizens ridiculing the proposal.
