The trailer of Netflix’s upcoming animated buddy comedy, Swapped, was unveiled by the makers on Thursday, April 3, 2026. It marks the first release of Michael B. Jordan after his Oscar-win recently for Sinners. He has given his voice for the protagonist in the animated feature.

The trailer opens with a brief appearance of Jordan along with his nephews as they do a countdown for the film. The actor has voiced for a woodland creature, who along with his bird friend, played by Juno Temple, find themselves in a body swap incident which makes them to walk in each other’s feathers as they embark on a wild journey together. The trailer features some moments of comedic banter between the two as they battle other creatures in the forest. At one point, the two are forced to jump off a cliff, as the bird is hesitant to open its wings during the free fall. The film promises to be a wholesome buddy comedy with stunning visuals.

It is helmed by Tangled director Nathan Greno and also features Cedric the Entertainer, Justina Machado, Tracy Morgan, Lolly Adefope, and Ambika Mod voicing for key roles. The film will be released on Netflix on May 1.
