HC directs GRH Dean to order post-mortem on man’s body by two doctors

The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Thursday directed the Dean of Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai, to nominate two doctors to conduct the post-mortem on the body of a man who died by self-immolation in front of Subramanipuram police station in Madurai recently.

Justice B. Pugalendhi directed that the entire post-mortem should be videographed. The court was hearing a petition filed by N. Bhuvaneshwari, wife of Narayanan. The petitioner said her husband suffered grievous injuries after he was physically assaulted by his brother due to a personal dispute.
