Sub-Inspector of Police Kalaiyarasan of Dindigul taluk police station was caught red-handed on Thursday by Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption officials while receiving a bribe of ₹10,000. The complainant Sukumar had lodged a complaint alleging that the Sub-Inspector had demanded a bribe of ₹10,000 to allow the operation of a bar. The DVAC officials organised a trap and arrested the Sub-Inspector.
