JAGTIAL Braving the scorching sun, hordes of devotees, who undertook the Hanuman Deeksha, thronged the famous Kondagattu hill shrine in Jagtial district on the second day of Sri Hanuman Chinna Jayanti on Thursday. The hill temple witnessed a steady stream of Hanuman devotees, clad in saffron attire, walking along the ghat road barefoot to have darshan of the temple deity popularly called ‘Anjanna’ on the auspicious occasion. The hill shrine buzzed with pilgrim activity all through the day. Jagtial Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar personally monitored the bandobust arrangements at the hill temple. The Chinna Jayanti celebrations of the presiding deity of Kondagattu hill shrine will conclude on Friday (March 3, 2026).
